Accurate CNC just completed a very elaborate batch of  architectural screens from 3mm alloy. Using a 3mm endmill each of these took 4 hours continual cutting with over 1000 pieces to the pattern!

Even more architectural screens! This time it’s perforated Alucobond for a classy shop fitout. Being malleable 5005 alloy skined Alucobond, careful tool selection and feeds were necessary to produce a crisp cut across the 2000 holes.

We’ve been getting inquiries about cutting fire rated MDF. It was causing all sorts of problems out there and one customer had a particularly high amount of metres to cut. After many experiments we found the solution using the best tool at the exact right feed and speed. We can now cut a predictable number of lineal metres per tool, and if it’s pushed further thishappens every time! These hardwood timber veneered fire rated MDF sheets were used in a flashy elevator interior fitout by R.S.J Crisp.

What cant you cut on a flat bed router? Not much really! Here we are cutting a set of stairs from LVL’s, which makes a nice change from Alucobond everyday!

As a specialist Alucobond machining facility we often get projects coming in that really stretch the limits of the material. Recently we’ve been working with BHP Roofing and Tambry Developments to cut some very tricky curved panels for this ambitious development. Each of these curved Alucobond panels were hand traced on site then using our methods transcribed into AutoCAD before being sent to the CNC router for cutting. The complexity level was extremely high but we belive the final resultmade it worthwhile.
